July 2026 NextGen Bar Exam Information

The July 2026 NextGen Bar Examination application is set to go live March 2, 2026! The timely filing deadline is April 15, 2026. The late filing deadline is May 15, 2026.

Applicants who are requesting ADA testing accommodations will be required to submit a request form titled "Doc 1 - Request for Testing Accommodations". Please note the requests for accommodations must be submitted by May 15, 2026. Any requests received after this date will still be considered, but such applicants will assume the risk that we may lack the resources to accommodate their request. Request for accommodations submitted without a bar exam application will not be considered by the Board.

The Laptop Registration period will begin in June. You will receive an email with detailed information about the registration dates and associated fees once the registration opens.

The July 2026 NextGen Bar Examination is scheduled to take place on July 28th and 29th, 2026 at the Three Oregon Law Schools. 

July 2026 Withdrawal & Fee Information

"An applicant with a current application for the upcoming bar examination may request to withdraw their application and receive one-time transfer of a portion of their exam application fee as a credit toward another application for admission, so long as the applicant is presently eligible for that pathway at the time of the request."

Please contact the Admissions Office to verify your eligibility for an alternative admission pathway. Please refer to the details below to determine the amount of transfer credit available at the time of the request:

100% transfer credit* available when requested by 04/15/2026

75% transfer credit* available when requested by 05/15/2026 

50% transfer credit* available when requested by 06/30/2026 

*The transfer credit cannot be applied toward a future bar exam application*
