Laptop Registration

If the Oregon Bar Exam is held in-person, then all applicants wishing to take the Oregon Bar Examination using a laptop computer must purchase and install the relevant computer program or application from the exam testing software vendor selected for this exam.

Our vendor is ILG Technologies, and laptop users will have to pay ILG its laptop registration fee of $150, regardless of whether they paid this same amount for a prior exam. The fee is to setup for the exam.

Applicants who choose to type their MEE & MPT answers must use their own personal laptop to register, pay for, and download the software through the laptop vendor during laptop registration. If you choose to register your laptop you acknowledge and accept that the use of electronic technology carries with it some risks. If you are unable to take the exam by laptop, for any reason, you will be obligated to handwrite your remaining answers for this exam.
